Ostuni famous for Città Bianca with white washed buildings, a scenery that you can see within a distance resting upon at hill. When you arrive, it reminds you of an ancient old town drawing that came out of a fairy tale.
You may wonder…where is this lovely city? This city is in the heart of Puglia region located in the southernmost part of Italy’s boot shaped Peninsula. The center is a wonderful location for restaurants, shopping, narrow Italian style streets with the famous zooming little Ape Piaggio taxis ( three wheelers ) -pic on the right.
Visions of panoramic views from the old city from a far. You can see the Adriatic turquoise sea and plenty of agriculture terrain with growing olives that are thousand-years-old. Fall in love with all the plants clinged to the white walls for a pretty yet dramatic look.
View the glorious Cathedral dedicated to Santa Maria Assunta with an eye pleasing stoned facade with rose windows that describes Gothic and Baroque details. This Cathedral is located in the heart of city in Piazza Beato Giovanni Paolo II.
It’s all about the aperitivo! Many great little bars to explore and grab your drink or finger bits in this exotic white city. A reminder, that aperitivo is always in the evening when the sun starts to go down and the fun starts to thrive.
