Lucky Green

Today, known as St. Patricks Day is a time associated with the colour green, wearing green clothing, drinking green beer 😆and celebrating green parades. Some might even wear green wigs as hair, now that’s funny.

St. Patricks Day all began on March 17, 1631 back in the 5th century. This day was made to mark the anniversary of St. Patrick’s death.

The colour green is powerful and beautiful, it has many meanings to it. Tho, a cool plant that we admire is the clover ( the shamrock ) which was considered a sacred plant and has been associated with Ireland for many years or centuries to be exact. In traditional superstition, a four-leaf clover which is rare brings good luck to those that find one. The Celtics would believe when the clover was beginning to sprout it symbolized the rebirth of spring.

In relevance, the colour green also represents life, nature, environment and harmony and more. Could green be the most compassionate colour? – We tend to think so :)))))

Thanks for reading and we hope everyone has a lucky St. Patricks Day. 🍀 Go GREEN Go!
